"Enlarge the place of your tent;

stretch your tent curtains wide,

DO NOT HOLD BACK; lengthen your cords,

strengthen your stakes."

Campaign Overview

Restoration Outreach Programs is launching the “Making Room for Greater Impact” Capital Campaign to expand the space where community takes root and lives are restored.

For 20 years ROP has been a steady beacon on East Colfax, serving neighbors through hospitality, mentorship, youth leadership, and healing-centered programs. As the need and work continue to grow,
an unexpected opportunity emerged when the property across the street from our current facility became available. Through miraculous unfolding, we closed on purchasing the property at 1523 Boston Street in December 2025.

This $400,000 capital campaign is part of a $2.3 million project to fully acquire and update the property. The transition will be funded through the sale of our 1540 Boston St. building and community investment. The funds will reduce a long-term mortgage burden and establish a permanent home for deeper ministry, collaboration, and lasting neighborhood impact.

The Greater Why

Over the years, ROP has seen growing opportunities to walk alongside neighbors in deeper ways.

Many of our programs began by meeting immediate needs. Today, we are expanding toward a model that builds lasting relationships, mentorship, and
long-term stability in the community.

Expanding into 1523 Boston Street will provide the space needed to strengthen our internal capacity, deepen our programs, and serve as a welcoming community hub for greater impact in Aurora, CO and beyond.

Build Internal Capacity

Deepen Our Programs

Serve as a Community Hub

We are committed to strengthening and expanding our staff and volunteer infrastructure. Our ministries are continuing to grow to meet community needs.
In this new phase of ROP, we are focused on becoming more discipleship-driven, helping our neighbors gain the skills to be self-sufficient.
Our new building will serve as a vibrant center that brings together multi-cultural organizations with a shared mission of serving with impact.

I appreciate the ROP ESL classes. They have helped me improve my speaking and understanding of English.

I’ve made a lot of progress and it helped me get my first job.

Current Impact

Our Food Bank serves hundreds of families each week. SELAH and Kairos embrace children, teens, and their families through meaningful programs offered throughout the year. Our Workforce Readiness Program supports individuals in earning their GEDs and pursuing further education, opening doors to brighter futures. Our ESL programs help those who are new to the country and speakers of other languages gain English proficiency and grow in confidence. And our Hospitality Center offers showers, hot coffee, prayer, and compassionate care to neighbors in need.

We invite you to download our full 2025 Annual Report to learn more about our ministries and the impact we are making in our local community. We are deeply grateful to our supporters who generously share their resources, allowing us to serve, support, and love our community with dignity and purpose.

The Greater Goal

Our initial goal is to raise $400K to secure this next chapter of ROP's growth.

When you give, you drive a stake for restoration and make room for God’s expansion for East Colfax.

Investments will be used for:
  • Paying down the mortgage of our new facility
  • Painting
  • Additional upgrades
  • What else?
